Transportation: All public transport within the country is free. This includes trains, buses, trams, and even the funicular railway. Passengers only need to purchase a ticket if they wish to travel first class (for trains) or board a cross-border train.

Getting to the venue\hotel by bus:
Public transportation is free throughout Luxembourg. Google Maps or the Mobiliteit website and apps (search “Mobiliteit.lu” for both IOS and Android) will guide you with public transportation in Luxembourg.

The nearest bus stop to reach Parc Alvisse Hotel is the bus stop Dommeldange, Dauschbuer. The bus number 221 (direction Junglister) leads you from the city centre (station Centre, Badanstalt) directly to Dommeldange, Dauschbuer. Alternatively, buses number 3 and 4 (exit station Dommeldange, Van der Meulen) can be used to get close to Parc Alvisse Hotel (1 km walk), while bus 4 (exit station Dommeldange, Parc de l’Europe) can bring you close to Double Tree Hilton hotel (300 meters walk).
To request the bus driver to stop at your desired station, you should usually press the stop button, which is typically located near the exits of the bus or on the holding rails throughout the bus.

Getting to the hotel by car:
The Alvisse Parc Hotel can be easily reached by car from the city centre as well as from the International Airport Findel. Parking is available in front of the hotel at no cost.

Getting to the hotel by taxi:
Luxembourg has high taxi fares. You can expect to pay between 30 and 50 euros for a 10-kilometer trip. Taxi rides can be pre-booked (e.g. WebTaxi or HelloTaxi) or you can hail a taxi anywhere on the street. In Luxembourg City, you can almost always find taxis in front of Luxembourg Train Station and Luxembourg Airport.
