Please follow the link to the registration page, where you can then select whether you want to register for the main conferences, the workshops, or both.
Registration deadlines
All deadlines are in local time (GMT+1).
- Early registration until 12 March 2017;
Early workshop registration until 30 March 2017 (extended). - Late registration from 13 March 2017 to 21 April 2017.
- On-site registration from 22 April 2017.

A reduced fee applies to members of EATCS, EAPLS, EASST and ETAPS if a valid personal membership number is provided during the registration process.
Note that the ETAPS conference dinner is not included in the main conference fee, a dinner ticket has to be added separately on the registration page.
For a student registration a document of the registrant's student status (student card, letter of enrollment in a graduate school, etc.) is to be produced during the registration process.
If the payment is not successful or an invalid discount has been applied, the registration will not be valid until full payment has been received.
The ETAPS conference fees include ...
- Access to the sessions of all main conferences and tutorials Monday to Friday (April 24 - 28).
- ETAPS 2017 participant kit.
- Web access to the LNCS proceedings of all main conferences (during ETAPS).
- Lunches on Monday to Friday.
- Coffee/tea breaks per day on Monday to Friday.
- Welcome reception.
The ETAPS workshop fees include ...
- Access to all events on a particular workshop day.
- Lunch/lunches during the booked day/days.
- Coffee/tea breaks during the booked day/days.
Payment
Payment must be made in advance of the conference.
International Delegates
- Payment can be made by credit card or by invoice/bank transfer.
- All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona).
- Upon choice of payment method ”International bank transfer” on the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information such as bank account, IBAN, etc. Confirmation letter and invoice will be sent by e-mail. The option to pay by bank transfer is only possible up to 6 weeks before ETAPS, later payments have to be done via credit card.
- The following credit cards are accepted: VISA and Master Card. We will not accept any bank charge deductions.
Swedish Delegates
- Swedish delegates can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
- Swedish delegates affiliated with a Swedish authority, and who are paying by invoice, are tax exempt. The VAT is removed in the payment section of the registration.
- If you choose to pay by invoice, an administrative fee of SEK 100 (plus VAT) will be added. You will receive your invoice by regular mail.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation of Registration
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., the conference secretariat. Cancellation of registration will be accepted until 20 March 2017, up to which date the total amount will be refunded minus SEK 750 for cancellation fee. We regret that no refunds or reductions of fees will be accepted for cancellations made after 20 March 2017, nor for no-shows for any reasons.
Change of Name
Should you be unable to attend, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Please contact the conference secretariat as soon as possible. An administration fee of SEK 250 will be charged.
Student Scholarships
A limited number of student scholarships, in particular for students who are co-author of a paper of one of the main ETAPS conferences, is made available by the ETAPS association. See the webpage on ETAPS 2017 Student Scholarships.
Visa Information
If you need an invitation letter to apply for a visa, such can be provided to attendees who are author or co-author of a paper accepted by one of the main ETAPS conferences or satellite events. - your full name as it appears on your passport
- your nationality
- your affiliation
- title of your paper
You need to register for the ETAPS main conference and/or satellite events before your request for an invitation letter can be processed. No invitation letter will be issued until your registration has been completed, processed and paid in full, and the eligibility of your request can be assessed. Please note that ETAPS 2017 organisation will not refund attendees due to visa issues after the early registration deadline (see above).
