ETAPS 2014 Student Scholarships

ETAPS e.V. is granting a number of scholarships for PhD students and young researchers to support the funding of their travel to and stay at ETAPS 2014. Each scholarship has a flat rate of 500 euro.

The ETAPS scholarships are for students who are authors of papers presented at ETAPS 2014. Preference will be given to those:

• from countries where access to travel funds is difficult and
• presenting a paper at one of the six ETAPS conferences.

The deadline for application is: March 10, 2014 closed!

Applicants are required to submit a short application (max. 1 page) electronically, as an ASCII text file. The application should contain the following information:

1. your name, affiliation, and e-mail address.
2. the name and e-mail address of your supervisor.
3. the title of your paper, the conference or satellite event at which this paper will be presented, and whether you will be presenting the paper yourself or not.
4. a short explanation of the reason(s) why funding is required, indicating whether or not your university is providing any funding for your trip.

Please note that scholarship recipients must register and pay for participation in ETAPS, the same as other participants. They will be reimbursed during the conference.
