Credit card payment is possible through a VISA or MasterCard certified online card payment site.
Payments by credit card are handled at the end of the registration procedure; payments with bank transfer must be done within 5 days from the registration date. In both cases, the discount (for members and students) will be verified after the registration. The confirmation that you will receive by e-mail is not an official receipt; it will be turned into an official receipt after successfully receiving the payment and verifying the validity of the claimed discounts. If the discount is not valid, the full payment will be required.
Registration deadlines
All deadlines are in local time (GMT+1).
Early registration from 20 January 2014 to 9 14 February 2014.
Normal registration from 10 15 February 2014 to 10 March 2014.
Late registration from 11 March 2014 to 4 April 2014.
On-site registration from 5 April 2014 to 13 April 2014
Fees and rates
IMPORTANT: For tax reasons, if your registration will be paid by a European company/university/research center using research founds, your invoice MUST be addressed to your company/university/research center. To this aim, when you are in the "Confirmation and Payment" phase of your registration, please fill the "Billing address" part.
A reduced fee applies to members of EATCS, EAPLS and EASST if a valid personal membership number is provided. Students must provide documentation of their student status(student card, letter from the department Head, etc.) by uploading directly on the registration form or by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. - access to the sessions of all main conferences and tutorials Mon 7 - Fri 11 April

- 2 coffee breaks per day Mon 7 - Fri 11 April
- welcome reception on Mon 7 April
The conference banquet on Wednesday 9 April is not included and costs 70 EUR extra that is added to the main conference fee. At the same rate, you can buy extra tickets for the event.

The workshop fees include:
- access to the workshops
- lunches during the day(s) of the workshop
- 2 coffee breaks per day during the day(s) of the workshop
The pre- and post-workshop dinners, on Sunday 6 and Saturday 12 April are not included and cost 60 EUR extra each, that is added to the workshop fees. At the same rate, you can buy extra tickets for the event.
Modalities of payment
We accept bank money transfers (national or international bank money transfers in euro for which the transmitter pays all bank charges) and payments by credit card.
Cancellation policies
All cancellations before 11 March 2014 will be subject to a 60 EUR cancellation fee + all additional bank costs. NO REFUNDS will be made after this date. The name on the registration may be changed without penalty.

Visa information

If you need an invitation letter to apply for a visa, ETAPS 2014 can provide such a letter to the confirmed attendees. Please send your request by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and provide:
- your full name as it appears on your passport
- your affiliation
- your conference registration confirmation number
- your nationality
Invitation letters will be sent to to you within 4 days of receiving your request.
You will need to register for the conference before your request for an invitation letter can be processed.
No invitation letter will be issued until your registration has been completed, paid in full and confirmed.
Please note that ETAPS 2014 organization will not refund attendees due to visa issues.
