Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ):

To travel from Toronto Pearson International Airport to McMaster University’s main campus by bus, the most efficient route is via GO Transit’s Route 40 bus. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Departure from Pearson Airport:
   • Location: Terminal 1, Ground Level, near Door Q. If you’re arriving at Terminal 3, take the free Terminal Link Train to Terminal 1.
   • Bus: GO Transit Route 40 (Hamilton GO).
   • Schedule: Buses depart approx every 30 minutes till 8pm, then every hour.
   • Fare: Approximately CA$11.65.
2. Arrival in Hamilton:
   • Stop: Main Street West at Longwood Road South.
   • Duration: The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
3. Travel to McMaster University:
   • From Main St. at Longwood Rd., there are two options to get to McMaster University.
   • Option 1: Walk approximately 20 minutes to the campus.
   • Option 2: Transfer to the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus:
     • Bus: Route 5 (Delaware) or Route 10 (University Plaza).
     • Stop: Board at Main Street at Longwood (across the street from the stop of the Go Transit bus).
     • Disembark: At Main Street West opposite Emerson Street.
     • Fare: Approximately CA$3.25.
     • Duration: The bus ride is about 5 minutes, followed by a 5-minute walk to the venue.

Les Prince Hall

• Single Room (1 twin bed with ensuite washroom): 102 CAD
• Double Room (2 twin beds with ensuite washroom): 166 CAD

An additional cost of 13% HST per room per night is due.

How to Book:

1. Visit the registration page.
2. Create an account (or log in your existing account).
3. Log in and click on the “General Registration” button.
4. Search for your event using the Group Code: ETAPS2025RES for special group rate
5. Choose your arrival/departure dates, select your preferred room, click “Add to Cart,” then “Continue.”
6. Agree to the Guest Expectations terms by entering your Guest Login email.
7. Enter your payment details and wait for the next page to load (do not refresh).
8. Once payment is processed, a confirmation page will appear—please print and save it for your records.
9. A confirmation email will be sent to your registered email. If you don’t receive it, check your Junk folder.

Room availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure the special rate, please follow the instructions provided in the notes section. Some hotels may require you to fill out a form and send it via email, while others may offer promo codes for online bookings. All rates are subject to availability.
