Italy has joined the Schengen system giving total freedom of movement within all the territories of the Schengen agreement signatory states. Admission to Italian territory for nationals of all the countries of the European Union and the European Economic Area is permitted if in possession of a valid passport or another travel document recognised as valid by the Italian government. Nationals of any other states outside the Schengen Area should check the visa requirements for admission to Italian territory at the webpage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

ETAPS 2013 can provide official letters of invitation to persons who have fully registered for the conference/workshops and for which payment has been received. §  Name, affiliation, and postal address.

§  Person/institution  to whom the request should be made out

§  Paper title and conference name, if you have one accepted paper

§  “Request for ETAPS 2013 Invitation Letter” as the subject of your email.
