As ETAPS organizers we have asked a photographer to take photos at various times during the conference.

Comment from the photographer
The pictures appearing in this gallery fall into four categories: people giving a presentation, people chatting/relaxing during a break, images of parts of the conference location or scenes visible from the conference locations, scenes from two evening festivities.
Taking flattering pictures of people presenting talks in low light conditions is not terribly easy; apologies to those speakers appearing in the less successful shots.
I have chosen to leave in even those photos which to my eye are "failures" since others may like them. Enjoy looking at them!
