Credit card payment is possible through a VISA/MC/AMEX certified online card payment site.

Payments by credit card are handled at the end of the registration procedure; payments with bank transfer must be done within 5 days from the registration date. In both cases, the discount (for members and students) will be verified after the registration. The confirmation that you will receive by e-mail is not an official receipt; it will be turned into an official receipt after successfully receiving the payment and verifying the validity of the claimed discounts. If the discount is not valid, the full payment will be required.

Booking of reserved rooms is managed through the Conference agency Consulta Umbria. For hotel room booking and any other questions regarding registration, change of the reservations, transportations and special needs, attendees should directly contact Consulta Umbria by sending e-mails to This email address is being protected from spambots. Registration deadlines

All deadlines are in local time (GMT+1).

Early registration from 9 January 2013 to 3 February 2013 (EXTENDED).

Normal registration from 4 February 2013 to 8 March 2013.

On-site registration from 16 March 2013 to 24 March 2013.

If you are registering on-site or at the end of the late registration period, we cannot guarantee exactly the same benefits as those arranged for the participants who registered earlier.

Fees and rates

IMPORTANT: For tax reasons, if your registration will be paid by a European company/university/research center usign research founds, your receipt MUST be addressed to your company/university/research center. To this aim, when you are in the "Billing and Payment" phase of your registration, please edit the invoice data (click on the "Edit details" button), tick the "Company/Institution" tag, provide full details (including a valid VAT number) and save the changes.

A reduced fee applies to members of EATCS, EAPLS and EASST if a valid personal membership number is provided. Students must provide documentation of their student status (student card, letter from the department Head, etc.) either by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. The main conferences fee includes:

  • ETAPS 2013 participant kit
  • access to the sessions of all main conferences Mon 18 - Fri 22 March
  • lunches Mon 18 - Fri 22 March
  • 2 coffee breaks per day Mon 18 - Fri 22 March
  • welcome reception on Mon 18 March

The conference banquet on Wed 20 March is not included and costs 70 EUR extra that is added to the main conference fee. At the same rate, you can buy extra tickets for the event.

 

 

PROCEEDINGS: this year, the pdf version of all published papers will be accessible (through the ETAPS'13 website) to all participants at least from 11 March to 6 April. Each participant will be allowed to freely download every paper during this period. For this reason, we do not include the cost of the proceedings of the conferences in the registration fee. However, if you prefer to have printed versions of the LNCS volumes or a USB pen containing all the papers of all the conferences, they can be purchased at an additional cost during the registration procedure.

PLEASE note that the plenary talks and the parallel sessions are located in different places. It takes 10 minutes to walk from one venue to the other, and this may be needed more than once a day (depending on the number of plenary talks). Conference participants with reduced mobility should inform us by checking the appropriate box named "reduced mobility"  in the registration form so that assistance can be provided.

FRIDAY-ONLY registration: It is possible to register only for the last day of the main conferences at the cost of a one-day workshop (see below). In this case, you'll have access to every session, to the invited talks, to the Bohm fest and the Honda tribute, to the coffee/tea breaks and to the lunch of Friday 22nd.

 

Fees for satellite events

Workshop participants are charged a fee for the individual workshops they register for and a workshops-only fee, to be added if they do not register for the main conferences.

The workshops-only fee includes:

  • ETAPS 2013 participant kit
  • local proceedings of all workshops on a USB stick

The pre-workshops dinner, on Sun 17 March, and the post-workshops dinner, on Sat 23 March, cost 40 EUR each,  and can be purchased during the registration procedure.

The fee for an individual workshop includes:

  • access to that workshop
  • lunches during the day(s) of the workshop
  • 2 coffee breaks per day during the day(s) of the workshop

Modalities of payment

We accept bank money transfers (national or international bank money transfers in euro for which the transmitter pays all bank charges) and payments by credit card.

Onsite payment will be by credit card or cash.

Cancellation policy

All refund requests must be made via email to Consulta Umbria (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.). All cancellations before 8 March will be subject to a 60 EUR cancellation fee + all additional bank costs. NO REFUNDS will be made after this date. The name on the registration may be changed without penalty.

In the event of a major catastrophe (such as a vulcanic eruption, nuclear accident, collapse of the Euro, ...), we cannot guarantee anything.
